WATCH THE TRAILER

In the year 2012, three years after the rise of zombies, a seedy underworld of exploitation and violence exists in a maze of alleyways and speakeasies just outside the city walls; where life is cheap and the drugs are cheaper. Surviving to a ripe old age has become an urban myth. At the center of it all is Johnny Sunshine, a porn-snuff star and killer for hire. She stalks the night like a tempest of sex and violence, much to the pleasure and profit of her producer, Max, and his entertainment empire. As the body count rises, Johnny becomes a victim of her own success. A secret plot is hatched to orchestrate her downfall and capture it all on camera to create the greatest snuff film ever made.

Black Ribbon Synopsis:
Famous writer Kenneth Richardson (Tony Rugnetta) gets a strange inclination to write his next work on an authentic typewriter. After purchasing the antique writing device, he begins to write feverishly. Little does he know, this typewriter was once owned by Jeffrey Blackwood; a sadist and Satan worshiper who abducted women and brutally tortured them during satanic rituals. With each stroke of the key, the gates of hell open up more and more while Kenneth becomes possessed by the soul of Jeffrey Blackwood. With the aid of a mentally challenged man (Rudy Altenor), the demonic Kenneth Richardson abducts Emily Harrison (Debbie D) and tortures her in his basement, preparing for the “Black Mass” which will bring Satan back into the world of men!

Dr. Shock’s Grindhouse of Horrors Synopsis:
International horror host Dr. Shock is back with three horrific, blood drenched films.

First on the menu is WILBUR’S DEAD & BREAKFAST. A pair of twin brothers are making millions selling their beef jerky and automotive parts over the internet. When a gang of rogue bikers stumble across Wilber’s Bed & Breakfast, they soon discover the twins bloody secret to success.

BLOODSUCKING HILLBILLIES is a story of she-devils, moonshine, weakness and wickedness. A sinful tale that sheds light on the mysterious Furko Family Curse.

The third tale, THE BLACK ROSE, follows a reporter for “The World Examiner” as he struggles to find the perfect cover story. He hires four college students to get pictures of Carl Carlson, an acquitted axe murderer known for his award winning rose bushes. When the kids trespass on Carl’s property, all hell breaks loose.

Ok, this is a bit hard to do, but please hear me out. For the last (almost) five years we have been doing our best to deliver what we think are the best horror shirts on the market and at a fair price to everyone. However, during that time every aspect of our business has changed and operating costs have grown steadily every year (sometimes more than once in a year). Throughout all that I’ve held firm to our pricing…but inevitably there must be a change and unfortunately that is sooner, than later.

“EXTREME SCREAM” is a new 30-minute TV show that shines the spotlight on independently produced horror films. The show was originally scheduled to air on Superstation WGN. “We spent months working with the Programming Department at WGN to produce a horror-based show that is true to the genre, yet still appropriate for the viewing audience” said Leon Quenneville, owner of ON-Q and host of “EXTREME SCREAM”. “Our editors tried their best to show just enough of the monsters, killers, blood, sex and violence to entertain the audience while remaining within the FCC and network guidelines. But you can only edit so much, and then you lose the appeal of the whole horror-movie magic.”

Darrin Ramage is the President of Brain Damage Films, the primary sponsor of the EXTREME SCREAM TV show. “I can understand the need to keep the sex and violence to an acceptable level for network television,” he said, “but my number one priority is the loyalty and respect from the GOREHOUNDS. If I continue to edit and censor the creative work of these talented independent film producers, then I’ve done a disservice not only to the artist but to the fans as well. Above all else, we have to remain true to the fans!”

ON-Q Productions and Brain Damage Films were excited to find a welcome broadcast partner in the VERSUS Network.  VERSUS is available in over 74 million households nation-wide. Beginning this Thursday night, it’s finally time to “EXTREME SCREAM”!

BULLETIN:

Hey everyone! Jason Crowe here. First I wanted to say hello to all of my “Dead Moon Rising” friends. It’s been far too long since we have raised some hell in
Louisville! No worries though, we will be back to zombie smashin and thrashin REAL soon.

This email is to ask everyone for some assistance. I have entered a contest in which I can win a leading or supporting role in one of After Dark Films “8 Films To Die For“. The Film is called “Perkins 14″

Out of a 1,000+ entries I have managed to rank 6th. Which is awesome. I just have to stay in the top 10 to get a chance at this. if I make the top ten then I will be flown out to LA to do some screen tests. After that everyone will vote AGAIN and pick the top 4 actors out of the top 20. The top 4 (2 men & 2 women) are in the movie!

You can help me by joining www.massify.com and voting for my audition at: http://www.massify.com/auditions/439

Fangoria Picks DEAD MOON RISING as Top Video of the month America’s premier horror magazine, “Fangoria,” picks DEAD MOON RISING as Video of The Month in the May 2008 issue. Using phrases like “…unlike so many recent DIY productions, it’s genuinely smart and entertaining,” “cleaver than you might expect, Poole maintains a perfect balance of humor and horror” and “Throughout the craziness, the cast gives their all…” the article devotes a good two-thirds of a page to a review by Dr. Cyclops, and awards DMR with a 3 out of possible 4 rating. I really want to thank the cast and crew of DEAD MOON RISING for all of their hard work, fantastic abilities and faith in my first independent feature film project. I couldn’t have done it without this wonderful team, and they deserve every word of praise that Fangoria granted us. A shout goes out to all the extras, too. You guys made the zombie scenes work, and we couldn’t have done it without you. If you don’t already subscribe to Fangoria, head to your local magazine seller and demand a copy today. If you haven’t seen DMR yet, just go to Netflix, Blockbuster online, and put it in your rental queue, or buy it from one of the many online retailers. Keep your eyes peeled for news of DEAD MOON RISING 2 – we’ll start shooting in Louisville very soon. Mark E. First, how about 1978’s “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” is going to be remade as its already in script writing mode by a couple supposedly “established” names?

Second, for the DSK-Productions fans, Rick F. has started production on his latest project “Slashing Prices” this week and you can keep up with all the details at www.myspace.com/slashing prices where Rick is posted daily pics, blogs, and details of how the shooting is going! Rick will be making an appearance at Cinema Wasteland first weekend of April!

Third and final, are you ready for another Rambo movie? Apparently, Sly Stallone wants to begin writing “Rambo 6″ the next month or two and have it ready for filming by the end of the year!
