This week on The Bloodtype Basement Runky Cougar and Ed Lover discuss two films that deal with troubled youths. The first film they cover is Larry Clark’s masterpiece “Bully”. They discuss everything from the wonderful ensemble to the honest brutality the film offers. For the second time Jack Ketchum is discussed in the Bloodtype Mother Fuckin’ Basement as Ed and Runk tell you whether “The Lost” is worth finding or not.
As far as news the odd couple delivers verbal headlines for the upcoming “Cloverfield” DVD specs, “Gutterballs” availability at www. plotdigger. com, The latest “Wolfman” news, Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” and some Sid Haig updates! Plus we take the Bloodtype Squad of listeners questions.

(Looking for another horror show to listen too?)
Hey folks! Sorry I’ve been so quiet lately. Being freshly dead (and then mysteriously undead) is really more of a difficult thing than I’d previously imagined. I keep coughing up all sorts of stuff, and I’ve got this gigantic crick in my neck that I don’t see going any time soon. Oh well, at least I’ve mastered the art of groaning menacingly, though I must admit that it’s mostly been at passing children and old ladies.
I wanted to write this blog just to briefly explain some stuff so that you’re aware of what’s happening with Goreboy Radio, as there has been some confusion regarding this. I thought I’d explain why it is that there is no link to the show or any actual episodes. The show itself (Goreboy Radio) has not yet launched. The debut episode will be available as a download from the official Goreboy Radio website on May 2, with further episodes then following on a weekly basis every Friday. You’ll be able to download each episode and there will also be an archive of all the episodes so that you can grab any that you might have missed. So, just to clarify, the show hasn’t yet launched. The website will be available soon over at http://www.goreboy.com so keep on checking that site for more info!
More exciting stuff will be happening as we inch closer and closer to the launch of the website in April, and the debut show on May 2. So remember that date…MAY 2! There will be no changes and no further delays. May 2 is the date you need to mark down in your calendar, so dooooo it!

DEAD MOON RISING 2 – Needs Barrett .50 cal Sniper Rifle
I’m the writer/director for DEAD MOON RISING, the zombie comedy shot right in downtown Louisville. Our big finale was the huge Bikers vs. Zombie battle that had 1200 extras fighting in the street in front of Coyote’s. We plan to top that record by a long shot soon.
I will be filming the trailer for DEAD MOON RISING 2 – THE SERIES, in April, and I need what every good zombie movie needs – big guns.
I would like to locate someone near Louisville, KY that wouldn’t mind letting us use a Barrett .50 Cal M89 or M107 as a prop in our movie. We’re going to have a very hot girl act like she is firing it. Obviously, we will not be firing a sniper rifle downtown. We’ll fake it.
We would give that person credit as “Armourer.” You’ll also get to hang around with some of the hardest working and fantastic people in this region. Other perks, too.
