Support your Local Filmmakers

The gang at Louisville Kentucky based Anubis Digital Studios is proud to announce that their first feature length zombie/comedy DEAD MOON RISING is now available to be reserved on the nationally DVD rental powerhouse Netflix.

They don’t list the release date, but it should be early March.

Is this awesome, or what? Many of you were in the film, so we’d like to thank you for all your help. We could have never done it without you.

We need a little more help:

If you have a Netflix account:

Log on and put “Dead Moon Rising” in the search box.
Hit Search
Dead Moon Rising will be the top item – click on that.
If you’ve seen it - Rate the film (5 stars is best, you be the judge).
If you’ve seen it – write a review.
Even if you’ve never seen it, or you own it, or whatever – Please SAVE it to your queue.
Even if you don’t have Netflix – TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS!

The last bit is the most important. If we can show a lot of people are interested in our film, then they’ll order more. The more they order, the faster we can get DEAD MOON RISING II started.

So it would be great if you could show some support for your local independent moviemakers.

While you’re at it, check out our distributor – Anthem Pictures:

Thanks!

Bloodtype Basement: Ed and Runk talk Saw IV and Alligator!

Posted by Tim on January 21, 2008

Podcast and lots of other Bloodtype Online stuff!

Alligator should have ate Jigsaw!

This week Ed Demko and Runk the Cruiser try to put the Jigsaw puzzle together when discussing Darren Lynn Bousman’s Saw IV. Also Runk and Ed show plenty of admiration for Lewis Teague’s 80’s classic “Alligator”. Tim Gross also shows up to talk Alligator. You know the film is good when the trio doesn’t have one bad word to say about the film. They all discuss the legendary Robert Forster, the great special effects, locations and camera work as well. The Alligator in the film is better than any CGI you’ll ever see. Plenty of surprises are in the show including an old Rap from 2005 from Runk (Second Verse) and a new Nathans Hot Dog tribute! We also answer questions from nocmonster, Rick from DSK Productions, “Moonshine” Xombie and Muddgutts 500 questions!

Want more than just a podcast? How about reading Rod Schroeder’s monthly column “The Mud, The Blood and the Beer”! This time he talks some speedy Roger Corman Classics. The titles he reviews include “Eat My Dust”. Grand Theft Auto” and “Hollywood Boulevard”!

Jennie Milojevic reviews “The Church” and “Gozu”! She’s our first female staff member and she kickass so be nice and give some feedback!

James Wan Interview: I recorded this on a speaker phone in the McDonalds Bathroom!
