A chat with Don Jones!
director of Schoolgirls In Chains
Just Before Dawn in the cold light, Deadpit came out of the night…to bring you a brand new edition of the uber-fabulous DEADPIT Radio show. This week we feature exploitation filmmaker Don Jones on the show in a very rare, exclusive interview. Discussing his films: Schoolgirls In Chains, Love Butcher and The Forest. Also we have a very lengthy (again) fan call portion in with a special surprise visit from dvd producer extraordinaire (Creepshow SE, Monster Squad, The Burning) Michael Felsher of Red Shirt Pictures to give us the lowdown on the Toronto International Film Festival from this past weekend. In addition to that your hosts CK and Uncle Bill go through the horror news which includes info on Anchor Bay’s BAVA collection Vol 2 and ofcourse more remakes. We also have the following films to review this week: Echo Bridge Entertainment’s ‘The Dead One’ , Trinity’s ‘Kill House’ , one of our favorite independent filmmakers Patrick Rea’s feature film debut ‘The Empty Acre’ , and Jeff Lieberman’s classic slasher ‘Just Before Dawn’. A home-brew of horror talk goodness that will even make Xombie pass out, only on DEADPIT.com !
