Just to warn you… You might kill yourself after reading about these titles!
Black Christmas (DVD) (remake) – Ok I gave the shitfest a shot! Now I wanna go shoot James Wong and Glen Morgan for not only ruining one of the greatest slasher films ever made but just insulting any horror movie fan that has half brain with this garbage they call a film. If you seen the original and haven’t this yet, DON’T! Please pass this up by all means necessary. It has a little gore; it has the hot young women of TV, and an ending that blows donkey dick. I couldn’t even get through the extras because it is just insult to injury. I wanted to go into to my TV and strangle James Wong and Glen Morgan when they were comparing the two. The film was like a stake to my horror film fan heart when I watched it. I give it 0 stars.
Fungicide (DVD) – What do get with a 93 minute movie that is about killer (some are puppets) mushrooms made on a $3.52 budget? Crap, crap, and more crap! Devil’s Moon (DVD) – Not a great small budget film about mysterious woods where weird things happen to all who enter. Movie is worth seeing for two reasons though: a) Trent Haaga playing a dumb hillbilly character and Tiffany Shepis playing a Goth chick who wants to bring about evil sprits to the world. Death Valley: The Revenge of Bloody Bill (DVD/Sci-Fi Channel) – A shitty movie about an evil spirit of Bloody Bill who himself and his undead army kill who enter the town where his sister was killed at. I felt a new kind of stupid for watching it! I give it 0 stars.
Scream Bloody Murder (DVD) – Some young women go a field trip from their all girls’ school to a dance to meet boys. Of course their van breaks down and they end up at a creepy junkyard for the night and are being killed off one by one. And the film even sports a “Scooby-Doo†ending… The film is boring, no one gets naked, and I feel asleep twice just trying to watch it! Avoid this or just grab the DVD and set it on fire right there in the store. I give it 0 stars and I give myself a punch to the eye for watching such boring crap.
Tales of Terror (DVD) – Dr. Shock is back to host segments in-between four short films. First short was “The Town That Loved Pizza†which plays out like a cheap homage to Blood Diner and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Plus added bonus was they have a woodchipper in the film. Second short is “The Garden Tool Murders†which is worth watching for the kill scenes. The third short is “Demons Dayâ€, a boring short about a battle between I’m guessing, two Satans? Fourth short is “Bullet For A Vampireâ€, a film about a vampire who has turned a mob boss’s world upside down, it blows ass. I give the collection 1 star mainly because of Dr. Shock and “The Town That Loved Pizza†being the only real reasons to suffer through the crap!
