BUENA PARK, CA – June 08, 2007 – Wiggy VonSchtick and Off Set Pictures have finalized an agreement with Vanguard Cinema for the North American distribution rights to Stupid Teenagers Must Die! The film stars Jovan Meredith (Overbrook Productions’ 125th And Nowhere), Ashley Schneider (Parental Guidance Suggested), Devin Marble (Men’s Room), Lindsay Gareth (The Comebacks) and Renee Dorian (The Mangler Reborn). It is the directorial debut of Jeff C. Smith.
Set in the 1980’s, Stupid Teenagers Must Die! tells the story of a group of teenagers that hold a séance in a haunted house. All the typical 80’s horror movie characters are there: the cool hero, the innocent girlfriend, the goth chick, the tough guy, the beautiful blonde girl, the shy guy in love with the beautiful blonde girl, a couple of lipstick lesbians and two big geeks.
In true low budget 80’s horror movie fashion, weird things start happening around the house. One dimensional characters are dying preposterously bloody deaths, girls are getting naked for no apparent reason and people walk into dangerous, pitch black rooms saying classic lines like, “Is someone in here?” As the poor, hapless kids are sliced and diced, it’s up to our hero to lead the remaining survivors to safety before the house is filled with stupid dead teenagers.
Vanguard Cinema intends to release the film in North America on September 25, 2007.
The international distribution rights to Stupid Teenagers Must Die! are still available.

Gross Movie Reviews #90
By Tim Gross
Scarecrows (DVD) – This forgotten late 80s horror film is about some thieves who just pulled off a big job and are using a plane to get away with hostages flying it until one of the thieves decide to jump and steal the money for himself. Problems occur when the man that jumped and lands in farmland he finds out the land is only occupied by scarecrows. While he searches for the money he finds out the scarecrows are not there just to scare off crows. While that happens, the rest of the thieves land the plane and go after the man and their stolen money. The film doesn’t explain a whole lot why the scarecrows are killing but it doesn’t matter when the scarecrows are slicing and dicing people one by one. The film has some pretty cool bloody kill scenes that make the DVD worth buying. I give the DVD 3 stars.
Petrified (DVD) – The movie that Uncle Bill of ‘Dead Pit Radio’ considers the worst film of all time. The movie is very bad and what it comes down to is Charles Band should be embarrassed for even having his name associated with this piece of donkey shit! Want to be insulted by watching a movie, find this one! I give it 0 stars.
Knightriders (DVD) – A George Romero fantasy film about Ed Harris who plays King in a troupe of people who go from town to town during summers holding “renaissance festivalsâ€. Lots of Romero favorites star in the film including Tom Savini who is a black knight who feels its time for a change for the troupe. A fun film for Romero fans to watch as it’s very different from his ‘Dead’ films and his very low budget stuff such as “The Crazies†and “Martinâ€. Be warn if you haven’t seen it by some chance the film does run 2 ½ hours long but the length goes unnoticed since the film sucks you in! I give it 3 ½ stars.
Meltdown: Days of Destruction (DVD) – The world is heating up and it is up to Casper Van Dien to get his family to safety before earth becomes so hot they die. A bad B-movie that is worth watching while sucking down a six pack. I give it 1 ½ stars.
Cross Bones (DVD) – A very shitty killer pirate film that has lots of overacting, hot looking women, and lots, lots of blood. It is so bad it needs to be watched by all horror fans. I give it ½ star.
Ice Spiders (DVD/Sci-fi channel) – Bad looking CGI spiders that are government experiments are killing everyone at a ski resort. I’m not fucking kidding! I give it 1 star.
Ghidroah: The Three-Headed Monster (DVD) – The new DVD is fucking awesome as it carries the US version of the film and the uncut Japan print of the film from 1964. A meteor hits earth and hatches after so long producing “Ghidroah†who is destroying Japan until Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra ban together and beat Ghidroah! A classic Godzilla film, I give it 3 ½ stars. Lots of cool extras to check out on this new DVD.
Invasion of Astro-Monster (DVD) – The film is also known as “Godzilla vs. Monster Zero†in the US. This new DVD carries the US version and uncut Japan version with lots of cool extras for Godzilla fans. This time around “King Ghidroah†is used as a weapon against earth by aliens from ‘Planet X’. The film is cheesy but very fun and reminds how much fun it is to be a Godzilla fan as Godzilla and Rodan team up again to beat King Ghidroah. I give it 3 stars.
