KSWA KRAZY TOUR STOPS AT OBEY HOUSE
By Trapper Tom
The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance hits the road this Saturday, June 30 as the KRAZY TOUR stops at the Obey House in Pittsburgh’s Crafton Heights neighborhood.
The event will be highlighted with a Battle Royal, which has become a staple of the KRAZY TOUR. All of the KSWA Megastars will take part, and the winner will have bragging rights over other members of the locker room.
The Golden Triangle Champion Justin Sane will put his gold on the line against the challenge of “The Future” Shane Starr. Starr has been gloating that he “took Double-A to the limit” at Heatwave Havoc. Those in attendance on June 16 may not agree with Starr’s version of events at the Lawrenceville Moose, but not everyone has “The Legend” Frank Durso whispering in their ears either.
Starr’s former tag team partner, Kris Kash has his work cut out for him as he takes on Biker Al. The Commissioner of the KSWA says he looks forward to the “light night” of work at the Obey House. “I can’t wait for the cold Yuengling,” Biker Al said. Kash on the other hand plans on taking some frustrations out on the Commissioner. This match has a chance of being the “sleeper” match of the night.
The KSWA World Tag Team Champions, the International Thugs—Ali Kaida and Big Mike Malachi—take on the Amigos de Mexico “The Drunken Luchadore” Joey Quervo and “The Mayor of Mexico City” La Lucha. The International Thugs took care of two different teams at Heatwave Havoc, and made a statement beating down La Lucha and the Latin Assassin. In fact, Latin may still be healing his wounds from that post-match attack. La Lucha decided to partner with his childhood friend Quervo in an attempt to pry the World Tag Team Championships back from “IT.”
“The Prime Time Player” Double-A Anthony Alexander and the KSWA World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Blanchard and the number-one-contender “Prime Time Player” Anthony Alexander are scheduled to be at the Obey House. Also on the card is Blood Beast, “Dr. Devastation” Lou Martin, Sara Brooks and others.
The Owner of the KSWA, Bobby O, is expected to be at the Obey House too. Surely Bobby will have something to contribute to the event.
And of course, everyone could be involved in the Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal.
Bell time is 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only $5 per person.
For more information call 412-726-1762 or visit www.kswa.net. The event is sponsored by Yuengling and Rhino Energy Drink. Card subject to change.

The Eerie Horror Film Festival has announced that actor Michael Berryman, best known for his roles in Wes Craven’s “The Hills Have Eyes” and Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects”, will be appearing as a special guest at their fourth annual event this October.
Berryman, who suffers from a rare disorder known as hydrochotic-extodermaldysplasia, is instantly recognizable to horror fans around the world for his portrayals of mutants, madmen and murderers, although he has also appeared in numerous comedies, dramas and action films.
In 1975 he appeared in the Academy Award winning film “One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest” with Jack Nicholson and starred opposite a soon to be famous Sharon Stone in 1981’s “Deadly Blessing”.
It was his role as the cannibal Pluto in the original version of “The Hills Have Eyes” however that most people associate Berryman with. With his bald head and menacing features, Berryman’s Pluto was the stuff of nightmares and terrified many a filmgoer back in the 1970’s. Berryman reprised the role for “The Hills Have Eyes Part 2″ in 1985, though the film was a commercial and critical flop.
Berryman’s other notable film appearances include turns in “Weird Science”, “Star Trek IV”, and “My Science Project”. The actor has also appeared in several television shows including “The X-Files”, “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Tales from the Crypt”.
He continues to act and has several film projects in the works.
Berryman will be joining fellow celebrities Adrienne Barbeau (”The Fog”,”Escape from New York”), Dee Wallace Stone (”ET”, “The Howling”, “Cujo”), Tom Savini (”Grindhouse”,”From Dusk Till Dawn”), James Duval (”Donnie Darko”,”Independence Day”) and Ken Foree (”Dawn of the Dead”) at the upcoming Festival.
Actor Ken Foree appeared along side of Berryman in Rob Zombie’s “The Devil’s Rejects” in 2005.
The 4th Annual Eerie Horror Film Festival takes place October 10 – 14, 2007 at the Erie Playhouse and Avalon Hotel in Erie, Pa. (USA).

NY TIMES PRAISES FEAST & GULAGER!
The New York Times had some great things to say about FEAST and director John Gulager. Here’s an excerpt-
Fans of Project Greenlight, the Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reality show that dangled a bankroll to emerging indie talent, may recall that Mr. Gulager and his project were the third-season winners. The movie was subsequently picked up by the Weinstein brothers, who gave it a few midnight screenings before dumping it to disc. On the evidence of Feast, however, Mr. Gulager is unlikely to languish on home video. His movie is smart, scary, energetic and introduces a brand new weapon into the alien arsenal: copious amounts of green projectile vomit.
Feast is also funny, a trait it has in common, sort of, with Dead and
Deader (originally made for TV) and Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave, which operates on the promising premise that an untrained observer would have a hard time distinguishing between zombies and college kids stoned on drugs. Both those movies try earnestly for laughs, even if they don’t always succeed. Feast scores more often than not because Mr. Gulager seems instinctively to understand a principle Aristotle didn¹t identify but should have: that far from being incompatible with fear, humor can enhance and enrich it, and that at the low end of the budget especially, the best horror movies are the ones that don’t take themselves too seriously.

Unfortunately, due to unforseen filming commitments, Michael Biehn has had to reschedule his appearance at HorrorHound Weekend. Sadly, Michael will be unable to attend during the July 6-8th event. We tried to work within the sudden change to his schedule and were unable to come to terms on anything that benefited him, us or you - the fans. Michael does intend on making up for the withdraw from the weekend event and plans on coming back to Indianapolis during the weekend of November 16-18th when HorrorHound Weekend returns to the city. We apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to his appearance and hope you still have a great weekend with all the remaining guests locked in (with some new ones added for good measure) and tons of special events and give-aways planned all weekend long.
A couple new guests have been added to HorrorHound Weekend, with just under three weeks from the event! On top of the recently added Daeg Faerch, we are proud to announce that William Forsythe will make it out during the July 6-8th event! William joins Daeg (as well as Hanna Hall and Ken Foree) in a small gathering of Rob Zombie’s Halloween alumni. On top of this - Forsythe makes up a six-celebrity grouping of The Devil’s Rejects actors (including Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, PJ Soles, Ken Foree and Walter Phelan).
On top of William and Daeg’s addition - After Dark Films have revealed their plans on bringing Mrs. Horrorfest (Black Betty) to HorrorHound Weekend in promoting the upcoming model contest, 8 Films to Die For and a number of other After Dark events!

http://movies.aol.com/movie-photo/worst-movie-sequels
20. ‘Jaws 3-D’ (1983)
Roy Scheider wisely bailed on the franchise before ‘3-D,’ leaving a too-young-to-know-better Dennis Quaid to star as a SeaWorld engineer dodging both an angry shark mama and an endless string of horror-movie cliches. At least Quaid could use those cheesy 3-D glasses to hide his shame.
19. ‘Scary Movie 2′ (2001)
The Wayans brothers laughed all the way to the bank after their clever onslaught of horror spoofs that was ‘Scary Movie’ grossed $157 million at the box office. They repaid audiences by cranking out a sequel less than a year later, one that was exceedingly lame, uninspired and — worst of all — starred Chris Elliot.
14. ‘The Exorcist II: The Heretic’ (1977)
Oh, that silly demon Pazusu … how he torments us! His worst trick: following up one of the greatest horror stories ever told with one of the most godforsaken sequels of all time. ‘The Exorcist’ and its incoherent continuation are like day and night, blessed and evil, Linda Blair and Linda Hunt.
6. ‘Jason X’ (2002)
It actually sounds like a spoof: ‘Jason in Space!’ And it really should’ve been, because this (very unnecessary) 10th installment of the ‘Friday the 13th’ series — in which the cryogenically frozen Jason Voorhees is thawed aboard a spaceship in the 25th century to get a few more kills — is absurdly funny.
4. ‘Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2′ (2000)
How fitting that the plot for this imitation horror movie focused on folks trying to “cash in” on the events of the first film by arranging a ‘Blair Witch Hunt’ tour. And though it’s never remotely scary, the exhibitionists all get their due. Can’t say the same for the people behind this garbage heap, though.

Gross Movie Reviews #91
By Tim Gross
We have crap, classics, and more crap read to find which is which!
Dead Clowns (DVD) – We have stock footage of a hurricane, clowns that are zombies that have returned for revenge on a local coastal town, lots of gore, and it stars Debbie Rochon, Brinke Stevens, and Robyn Griggs! I give it 2 ½ stars, believe me I couldn’t make this shit up!
Alien Siege (DVD/Sci-fi Channel) – Aliens arrive to planet earth and the government sets up a lottery to sacrifice millions to get some new technology. A big dog turd that I give 0 stars.
The Professional (DVD) – Possibly one of the best action/drama films ever made! Jean Reno plays a hitman who takes in a 13 year old girl (Natalie Portman) whose family has just been killed by corrupt undercover cops led by Gary Oldman! The girl in return for Reno saving her teaches him to read, to love, and that there is many things to life besides killing people. The unrated DVD “LEON†is movie lovers dream; I give the movie 4 stars.
The Prophecy (DVD) – Eric Stoltz plays an angel that knows a war is coming and a secret and gives it to a little girl to keep it away from another angel ‘Gabriel’. The movie was once called “God’s Army†before it was released but was changed because it was said the title stirred up too much crap with certain religious groups. The film blends stories and myths about angels and humans beautifully and Christopher Walken playing the role of ‘Gabriel’ made this film a must watch for any horror movie fan. I give it 4 stars.
The Exorcist (DVD) – For me this film is a no brainer of how fucking cool this horror film is. It’s a film that not only launched the acting career of Linda Blair but is the ultimate perfect possession horror film ever made. The original is always the best and still holds up somewhat to today’s standards in horror films. I give the film 4 stars.
The Exorcist II: The Heretic (DVD) – The sequel is possibly the lamest sequel to any horror franchise ever made. Instead building on what was a great first film or just leaving it alone, Hollywood decided four years after the first film they will just insult all moviegoers with a big 2 hour plus piece donkey shit that I swear puts me to sleep anytime I watch it. I give it 0 stars.
They Don’t Cut The Grass Anymore (DVD) – One the weirdest and twisted films I might have ever seen! A no budget horror film about two guys from the south who cut grass in New York but decide to start a massacre of women Southern style. Lots of bad Southern accents, lots of women with thick New York accents, bad make-up, bad acting, but a formula for lots of fun to watch! This would make a great double bill with John McBride’s “Cannibal Campoutâ€. The DVD also has lots of extras including several short films by the filmmaker. I give it 3 stars.
Parasite (DVD) – A Charles Band sci-fi/horror film about a near future that has a scientist on the run with a pair of parasites that could kill everyone left in the world unless he finds a way to kill them. It is Demi Moore’s first starring role and the movie was filmed in 3-D! A must have for Demi Moore fans as I give the movie 2 ½ stars.
The Zombie Chronicles (DVD) – A very shitty movie about a journalist who picks up a weird old dude who tells stories of zombies. Get this the low budget piece of fucking shit is shot in 3-D. This film is possibly now the new winner of being worst film I have ever watched. The film is complete and utter piece camel shit. I felt I needed to cut open my wrists for just knowing that not only I watched it but own it! Be warned, you might die of suicide after watching what somebody considered a film that needed to be put on a DVD? I give it a negative 4 stars!

Video rental magnate Blockbuster announced today that they would be carrying High Definition content exclusively on Blu-ray format in 1,450 of its stores. This is a serious development in the continuing battle between Blu-ray and HD DVD for the future of the High Definition format.
Blockbuster states that, in the 250 stores where both Blu-ray and HD DVD were available, consumers chose Blu-ray more often. They also feel that Blu-ray has more titles available than HD DVD. Matthew Smith, senior vice president of merchandising told the Associated Press that he feels most studios who are putting out High Definition content are using Blu-ray, with the exception of Universal, who is exclusively using HD DVD.
Ken Graffeo, co-president of the North American HD DVD Promotional Group struck back, stating that Blockbuster’s move is short sighted and affected by the release of higher profile movies early in the year like Casino Royale and Spider-Man.
Interestingly, despite its announcement, Blockbuster will not be completely exclusive to Blu-Ray. HD DVD will still be accessible in 250 of its stores (presumably the test market stores) and through their online service. Considering the promotion of the online service (being able to return movies to stores and get more titles there), it seems odd that they would allow HD DVD movies to be available online but not in stores.
