Back by popular demand! If you missed out last Friday, be sure to check this out!
If you missed our world premiere for whatever reason (or if you just said “Fuck that, I’m going to see Girl Talk” instead), you’re in luck.
Due to the astounding crowd of 191 people at the premiere, we are having another screening this Friday at the Warner Theatre (147 High Street - Morgantown, WV). Same deal as the last time: show starts at midnight and tickets are $5.

I decided to pick a few films I thought were the best in 2006:
Best Horror Movie of the Year:
The Descent (with Feast running a close second)
Best Independent Horror Movie Feature:
The Secret Life of Sarah Sheldon (Some honorable mentions; The Redsin Tower, The Forever Dead, Myth, Hot Justice: The Second Cumming, Die & Let Live. There was some great independent stuff this year to pick from.)
Best Independent Short Film:
Night of the Hell Hamsters (Sorry, people this thing was way too fucking funny. But honorable mentions; Dreadful, The Second Death, Remover (made in 2001, just released this year), Nice Guy Blues.)
Worst Horror Movie of the Year:
BTK Killer with the remake of The Hills Have Eyes running a very close second! I also could mention Rest Stop!

Hey folks, Just wanted to let everyone know that the world premiere of DIE & LET LIVE was an outstanding success with 191 tickets sold! I’d like to thank everyone who came and were able to bear the lack of parking due to the Girl Talk show at 123.
Now, it’s time for me to ask a favor. As far as I could tell, people seemed to enjoy the movie. Now, without any kind of real marketing campaign, the movie’s doomed to obscurity unless people actually start talking about it. So, if you wouldn’t mind, why don’t you be a shameless whore for me and tell all your friends about DIE & LET LIVE?
Just send all of your friends to our YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/user/iwcfilms) and show them the clips that are availible from the film. Pimp out the D&LL myspace (http://www.myspace.com/dieandletlive)
We’ll hopefully be doing some screenings again soon, if not at the Warner, then just about anywhere we can set up a TV or projector.
ACTUALLY, we’re playing at The Hatchet Jack Film Festival on December 30th at the Metropolitan Theatre on High Street in Morgantown. There will be a short film competition, a band, DIE & LET LIVE, and HATCHET JACK from Eddie “Mayor of Rivesville” Mahalick. Tickets are $10 and I forget the times. Whoops.
