Personally, take this with a grain of salt, I take this as a sign?

Apparently its being reported that someone has stolen an alien suit from the movie set of Alien vs. Predator 2! And now is beginning to post pictures on the internet… If this true maybe somebody is trying to tell the studio something: Don’t completely ruin the fucking francise, assholes!

Also, some dumb ass has decided to do Starship Troopers 3, maybe they will ask Casper Van Dien back?

Die & Let Live review

Die & Let Live
By Tim Gross

Well, I made my trek down south to Morgantown, West Virginia to see the premiere of “Die & Let Live”, the second feature from the talented filmmaker Justin Channell and IWC FILMS. The film has been explained to me as if somebody remade the Disney film “The Sandlot” with zombies! Now Justin’s first feature “Raising the Stakes” was a micro-budget vampire horror/comedy that was just great and a lot to live up to! Well, I’m here to tell you, Justin and crew lived up to the task again of making another great feature on yet again another micro budget. The budget was rumored to be around $1000, twice the amount of his first film and every cent made it on screen! “Die & Let Live” is a horror/comedy zombie film that comes out during a time when the low budget scene is very bloated with sub-par zombie comedies and people have grown sort of tired of this genre. But Justin had a vision and went with it the best way he could and made a very memorable film.

The film’s plot revolves around a just out of high school aged guy who decides to have a party that doesn’t exist yet to get the woman of his dreams to show up so he can put the moves on her. Meanwhile, while planning his way to get into her pants, a facility in Fairmont that has been doing very top secret experiments on humans has had a problem, the subjects have broke out and they are spreading a very highly deadly virus that brings the dead back to life. The jokes, chaos, and blood go full speed from there has the party gets crashed by the zombies and all everybody seems to be concerned about is the “pizza”, that the pizza guy brought before he was attacked by a horde of zombies. With pizza being a concerned a very cute female character blurts out, “I’ll fuck anybody for pizza!” That pretty much sets the tone of the whole film. Now remember the film is on a micro budget but did well with the blood, gore, and make-up and still found a way to fit in special appearances by Trent Haaga, Lloyd Kaufman, and the voice of Debbie Rochon! Josh Lively and Zane Crosby put on very funny and memorable performances again as they did in “Raising the Stakes”. So far through two features in about 2 ½ years Justin Channell seems to thrive on almost no budget and his talent is plentiful! Usually most filmmakers can do a good first film then fall off, if anything Justin and crew improved with the second feature and was able to top their first feature which is rarely done! I give the film 3 ½ stars and it looks like Justin Channell a young filmmaker at the age of 19, is just getting started at making fun and brilliant horror films for horror fans to love!
