Remake news

Posted by Tim on October 5, 2006

The big that is being reported on several sites is that the Friday the 13th remake will be released July 13, 2007. I would take this with a grain of salt, just because there has been no shooting done yet and last news was they were undecided at what exactly they wanted to do?

Errie Horror Film Festival with good news?

Posted by Tim on October 5, 2006

George A. Romero has some GREAT friends….

Case in point, within hours of Romero’s announcement that he was cancelling all of his upcoming appearances due to health concerns, pals Eugene Clark (”Land of the Dead”), Joe Pilato (”Day of the Dead”) and Tom Atkins (”Creepshow”) agreed to come out to the Eerie Horror Film Festival this weekend to help fill the void!

Eugene Clark will be joining us for the screenings of George’s “The Crazies” (along with star Lynn Lowry) and “Day of the Dead” over the weekend! “DOTD” star Joe Pilato will be with us as well!!!

Amazing!

As if that wasn’t cool enough, Tom Atkins, legendary star of “Halloween III”, “Creepshow”, etc will be with us too!!!!

They’re hoping to meet with all the fans this weekend so come on out!

A million thanks to George’s manager for making this all possible!

See you at the show!
