Well, it is over and we’ll see about next year but right now I have lots of movies to watch and review and I will have my usual thank yous up on the website tomorrow to all the new people I met, the filmmakers that gave me a free copy of their movie to review, and contacts, plus I list your websites on the site so people who it will link to your sites and check out the ‘Bastard’ approved friends!
But until tomorrow and the day after that I’ll see at Cinema Wasteland on October 6 or 7th, which ever is Saturday wondering around with no where to sit but of course books and T-shirts to sell! See you then!

Gross Movie Reviews #68
By Tim Gross
Not much of a list this time around but a well rounded list. But watch the next set of reviews as they will be all small budget or no budget Indy flicks I picked up at Genghis Con 2!
Ultraviolet (DVD) – The hot Mila chic, model, actress thing from Resident Evil fame stars as a monstrous thing to humans in the future that happens to be a renegade ‘transporter’ who finds out what she has stolen and what it means for not only her but all of the future of mankind. A great idea that Hollywood ruined and mainstreamed way too much with not just CGI but producers who have no clue and thought PG-13 would be a good thing. You sure Paul Anderson wasn’t attached to this? But anyway I give it ½ star.
Sasquatch Mountain (DVD) – Lance Henriksen’s wife is killed by a car while filming a something or somebody in the woods while he was towing her car. Years go by after the event and of course no one believed him until bank robbers start making their way into woods that are known for weird things. Well, of course Sasquatch gets pissed and chases the bank robbers and the authorities chasing them. And it is up to Lance to take care of it with long time horror veteran Tim Thomerson in a entertaining Sasquatch film. I give the movie 2 ½ stars.
Sasquatch Hunters (DVD) – Some dumb asses go looking for dinosaur bones in the deep woods… Wait, wait! No Lance Henriksen? No naked Tiffany Shepis being pulled through a small bathroom window? What’s the fucking point? I give it negative 1 star!
Feed (DVD) – A very sick and twisted movie from Australia that explores a hot topic in society, “obesityâ€! And how a very twisted human being exploits it with the internet and makes you question whether he is actually a serial killer! Think of the beginning of “Seven†and you got that in a 90 minute movie with some outrageous sex scenes along the way! I feel this is a must see film of 2006 and give it 4 stars!
Nailgun Massacre (DVD) – For one reason or another this film was left out of my first volume. But now with several versions out in the past year or so I figure it was time to add this to the list now that has been made more accessible by the way of Synapse Films! It is a revenge flick but that is not what drew me to “Nailgun Massacreâ€, it was the pile of bodies that added up to 17 by the way, and the gore that just kept coming. The filmmaker Terry Lofton didn’t hold back with whether it was sex, bad make-up, or just very laughable scenes between the killer with the nailgun and his/her’s victims! Come on mother fuckers it is called “Nailgun Massacreâ€! This title screamed to me when I was 12 and still screams to me today to watch it! So if you are daring go buy what I feel is one of my personal favorites along side “Woodchipper Massacre†and I give the film 4 stars!
The Ultimate Avengers 2 (DVD) – Lionsgate and Marvel keep up the animated movie series with a sequel that is not as good as the first because “less Hulk†but still effective and a well done animated feature! With the aliens not completely gone as the Avengers first thought it is up to them again with the help of “Black Panther†to get rid of the aliens for good! I give the movie 3 stars.
Venom (DVD) – Another piece of PG-13 camel shit that is about a man who is bitten by a snake and believed to be dead until he comes back to a small town to kill the hot looking ‘what teen show got axed this week’ TV series actors! You want to kill yourself? Try watching this all the way through! I give it negative 3 stars.
Shapeshifter (DVD) – Asylum Entertainment gives us a piece of shit that is suppose to be a movie that is suppose to be about a man who is sent by the Russian mob and he shapes shift to kill his victims! Why does the remake of “The Haunting†starting not to be such a bad idea? Please move on, do not rent… I give it nothing!
Any comments please send to: LAN_EMAIL_SUBS or www.myspace.com/slasherfilmfan and you can also find more reviews in a book I wrote called, “Gross Movie Reviews Volume One†that is available at: www.lulu.com/grossmoviereviews, if that doesn’t work just go to www.lulu.com and search in books, “Gross Movie Reviewsâ€! Remember folks if you are renting from Blockbuster you are not renting from the best! Support your local independent video store! It will keep horror alive………
