Day of the Dead remake news…

Now we all have heard in the past couple of months about Universal’s plans to remake Day of the Dead? Well the latest news I’m seeing on the internet is Ving Rhames is reprising his role in the sequel/remake Day of the Dead! MMMM… Didn’t he die at the end of the Dawn remake? I mean I did not like the movie but I vividly remember a huge gunfight during the credits and all the characters on the boat getting eaten? Is Ving going to be a zombie like BUB? Please don’t say it is? I know people will literally kill people if they mess with that role! This has really caught my attention because I’m curious to how much Universal is willing to go to shoot themselves in the head with another remake of this series?
