George Lee Lutz died Monday, cause was heart disease. He died at the ripe age of 59. He made Amityville famous by moving into a haunted house that now has long been remodeled on the exterior so no one is able to tell which house it is no longer. Amityville went as far as changing the street name. Pictures and other things about what the house looks like and stories about were featured in an article last year in Rue Morgue magazine! His story about the house being haunted was made into a ok movie with countless sequels.
Brian Yuzna and Halcyon International Pictures have four pictures in the can for release in 2006:
Battlespace - A female space trooper is stranded on a deserted planet, but must find a way to stop the destruction of her home world in 23 hours.
Viagro - In the near future, group of prison convicts become contestants on a futuristic game show where they can win their freedom if they can survive for 3 days on a mysterious deserted island.
Doomed - In the near future, group of prison convicts become contestants on a futuristic game show where they can win their freedom if they can survive for 3 days on a mysterious deserted island.
Darkworld - A beautiful she-demon escapes from Hell to save the soul of her sister, and must battle evil creatures sent to stop them.
Yuzna is currently working on:
Everdark - Based on the true story of a poltergeist haunting that terrorizes a family and town they live in.
Sprawl - A pack of rabid grizzly bears terrorize a suburban community that is encroaching upon the wilderness.
House of Re-Animator - With Stuart Gordon and Jeffery Combs. The saga of Herbert West continues, as he finds himself in the White House with a very special patient to work with.
According to the official website, the Australian horror flick, Feed will be on DVD May 29. The film is about the fetish of Feeders and Gainers(go look it up).
