Cryptic Magazine

Last week I found a new magazine called ‘Cryptic Magazine’ at my local independent video store. Of course, I picked it up for the $7.99 price tag, because I feel you gotta give a horror magazine at least one try especially when there has been only one horror movie magazine for years up until recently. During the late 80’s there was at one time 5 awesome horror movie magazines, now there is only 2 major titles and 1 title that is making every issue count but if it had some money backing it, it would give hell to the other two major titles! But anyway, ‘Cryptic Magazine’ from the Dead Dog Comics crew has done a pretty good job in my opinion:

*They feature lots of cool artwork and new comics.
*Interview with “BUB” the zombie done by Joe Knutter.
*Dead Dog’s experience of Cinema Wasteland Fall 2005.
*And your usual movie reviews.

They try to do a little different than the others so let’s hope this it is a good thing and horror movie fans catch on. I would so love buying five horror movie magazines a month again, awww the glory days of Gorezone magazine, but that is for another day. Check out the link for the magazine in our links section.

The End of "Hellraiser's" Pinhead?

In a recent interview, Clive Barker stated he is working on a new horror novel which will put the “Pinhead” character to rest! Holy shit, say it ain’t so but he has in other recent interviews said that he still has plans for the character Pinhead if he has it his way with movies and his new movie company.
