Yes, the book is finished. We have everything in this… Forewards done by Mike Watt of Happy Cloud Pictures and Charlie Fleming of www.bastardsofhorror.com plus an introduction, an index of all the crappy movies, and also a picture on the back of a person in a bear suit with Debbie Rochon and myself (don’t ask I might have been drunk). But the book is done and will be sent off to be published! I was hoping to have it for Cinema Wasteland convention but of course nothing ever goes as planned. Once it is published and released there will be an announcement here on Bastards of Horror plus hopefully if I have the money, I will be visiting some conventions to sell it this year.
Also I like to take this time to extend my thanks to Roger Beckett with helping me so much in getting this book completed.

Arch Hall Jr. Weekend Wrap-up
by Tim Gross
DAY 1
Well, for me it all started Friday night, 9:00pm at the 31st street Pub in Pittsburgh, Pa, but for local independent video store owner Bruce Lentz it started a couple days before that. Bruce, owner of Incredibly Strange Video (www.incrediblystrangevideo.com) had working his video store by day and practicing not only with his band ‘Forbidden 5’ but had his idol Arch Hall Jr. and The Archers practicing at his house also. So by time I had arrived at the bar, Bruce was riding on cloud nine being able to not only meet his idol, play music on the same stage with his idol, but also have his idol do an in store appearance at Incredibly Strange Video on the day after the gig!

The Fangoria Presents GoreZone DVD label has acquired North American video distribution rights to INSECTICIDAL, a sexy and comic horror movie directed by Jeffrey (SAVAGE ISLAND) Lando and written by Jeff O’Brien. Fango partner Hart Sharp will release INSECTICIDAL to DVD June 20. The movie, which won Best Creature Feature at Arizona’s 2005 International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival, concerns a sorority house that becomes invaded by giant insects when a student’s science project goes awry.

Take a Tour of the ‘See No Evil’ Hotel!
I really love Lionsgate and admire what they’re doing, but the fully launched official website for their upcoming horror pic See No Evil seems like it is nothing more than the ‘Hostel website re-skinned! Either way if you head to the website and enter the hotel, you’ll still get to wander down some dark hallways and see some clips from the movie. In Gregory Dark’s film starring WWE wrestler Kane (Glen Jacobs), a group of delinquents clean a hotel to fill their community service. Unfortunately for them they are not aware a maniac is also in the hotel. He locks them in and begins to hunt them down. Lionsgate kicks summer horror off on May 19th.
