Chainsaw Maniac

Posted by Charlie on February 27, 2006

From the makers of Resident Evil 4 comes a fun little flash based time waster, Chainsaw Maniac. It looks just like a Capcom handheld LCD game. The object is to kill the chainsaw maniacs that come running out of the forrest with your knife. When you run out of knives you need to go back to the cabin and get more. Missing a maniac of course ends in your bloody demise.

Like I said you are going to need Flash installed on your web browser to play this, and a broadband connection wouldn\’t hurt. http://www.chainsawmaniac.com/

The Lost Boys revisited…

Posted by Tim on February 26, 2006

Yeah, I know I have reviewed this movie before but it took me awhile to finally open up my special edition DVD of the movie, \”The Lost Boys\”. Now, whether horror fans admit it or not this movie had a profound effect on horror movies, fans, and vampires after 1987. It\’s like \”Scream\” of the new generation of horror right now. Now, I could get into it about the connection with \”Scream\” and why but that is a whole different direction than where I wanna go right now. But anyhow, 1987, was a bigger year in horror that most people remember…

Happy Cloud Pictures roll production on a new short film

Posted by Tim on February 26, 2006

The new short film is called \”High Stakes\” for now according to Mike Watt. The short film is going to be a part of a DVD that will be featured with several other short films that is yet untitled but will be hosted by Brinke Stevens. The one day shoot consisted of 8 1/2 hours, 15 pages of script, many bloody scenes, a fight scene that went a little too far by accident, and a scene where I\’m beaten to a bloody pulp in front someone\’s house! This is typical of a Happy Cloud Pictures production where a lot of times anything can happen.

Two TV Icons died yesterday!

Posted by Tim on February 26, 2006

Actor Darren McGavin, best known to horror fans as Kolchak, the Night Stalker died Saturday at the age of 83. Also actor Don Knotts, best known as the deputy from The Andy Griffith Show and the voice of himself in numerous episodes of the 70\\\’s cartoon \\\”Scooby-Doo\\\” has died Saturday. What also make this more shocking was while researching this news I found out Al \\\”Grampa\\\” Lewis from the Munsters Show died three weeks ago or so. We are only two months into the year and we have lost three icons of TV. May they Rest In Peace.

Tim thinks you need to own these DVD’s

Posted by Tim on February 23, 2006

You bored, have money, stupid, and a big fucking movie geek who knows who directed Nailgun Massacre? Then these are some DVD’s you need to own for your collection like me so you can brag to your 34 year old friend who lives in their mom’s basement who still thinks wrestling is real! Read more…

Remakes, remakes, remakes…

Posted by Tim on February 23, 2006

I’m sure everybody is tired of hearing the pros and cons of remaking horror movies (mostly cons). In a couple of weeks we have “The Hills Have Eyes remake coming out. Yes, Wes Craven unlike many filmmakers before him does not care about somebody remaking possibly one of the scariest movies of the 70’s. The question would be do you care. Most likely not since they are remaking Pulse and a few others that escape my mind right now.

House of the Dead 2

Posted by Tim on February 23, 2006

Holy shit! You thought the first movie was a big piece of monkey shit, you havent seen anything yet as this movie couldnt decide if they wanted running zombies, walking zombies, and apparently a normal person is able to survive an explosion that takes out a whole campus! Just to prove how much of a geek I am at times see if you can spot the semi-hot blonde from Halloween 4 and 5 in this movie.

All Souls Day

Posted by Tim on February 23, 2006

Who in the fuck was giving this piece of crap good reviews? Anyhow, the shows you why you shouldnt stop at any back road villages in Mexico as ugly zombies come back to eat you! The movie does not have much of a cast except for the semi-hot blonde from Halloween 4 and 5 and the Spanish man who I forget his name seems to play a bad guy in almost every horror and action movie in the past 5 years!
